The Moonlight Pickers have been honing their sound the way any good band does. Performing as much as possible, and paying their dues on the local music scene. The band started when guitarist/producer, Michael Pentz saw Melissa Olson perform her original song “What I Need”. He insisted they record it, which turned into more songs, and her debut EP. Following the release, Melissa teamed up with Tony Spadaro, and Sam Montiel, and Michael Pentz from the Miles Burning Band.

Performing for a short time, the Pickers have propelled to top notch stages, including 2 Nights at Country Thunder ’16, Elburn Days Festival, White Buffalo Music Festival, and many more local favorites.

A unique blend of country, folk and, rock, the Moonlight Pickers are wrapping up their first record titled “Rescue” to be released in 2018
